on tap-pours an off white head with trailing lace and amber color. Aroma is soft medium malt-peat. Taste is medium malt/cocoa, secondary earthy hops bits.

Clear amber coloured body with an orange tint and light off-white head. Aroma of malt, light english hops, some toffee and light fruits. Medium-bodied; Acidic fruityness up front with no malt or hops behind. Aftertaste puckering and sour - some sweetness..wierd for the style. Overall, lacking - everyway possible...bad start (this was my first beer) for Bricktown. I sampled this beer on draught at the Bricktown Brewery in Oklahoma City, OK on 17-November-2005.

(On tap) Slightly hazy amber with a small, off-white head. Vague, malty nose. Light-bodied with discreet notes of caramel before a dry, lightly hoppy finish sets in. Thin but refreshing. 210306

Sampler, from 2001 notes. When I had it, I was a little more impressed, perhaps because even since then, my experience with "amber ales" has been of the Michelob variety. I found it to be rather smooth, with a definite hop presence that does not linger aftward. So it had a good flavor to me.
