Can from the brewery. Slightly hazy light gold under a one finger white head that lingers and leaves patchy lace. Nose is grains and light grass with some lemon notes and a bit of spice. Taste reverses this with a light malty sweetness and a more pronounced lemon bitterness and spice but staying close to style. Mouth is medium- and slightly creamy yet still crisp in the finish. This surprised me. 7-/4-/7+/4-/14

(On tap @ Bar Hop Brewco, Jan 16 2016) Pours clear straw gold with a large white head and lace. Nose is fairly week Pilsner malt and grain with a slight souring edge and lemongrass hops. Flavour is kind of flabby watery Pilsner malt and grain, lemon and orange hints, grassiness, sweetish with a light sour or tart character. Mid dry finish with a little grain and some bitterness. Lightish body with light carb. I admit I am not a pils fan but I was expecting something that was either more crisp or more hoppy. I was looking for a bit more from GLB here.

A golden pils with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, a nice smooth fruity biscuit malt with grassy hops, light mineral notes, light treacle, refreshing summer quaffer. On tap at Arrow and Loon.
