Conspiracy IPA is a medium bodied ale with enough malt backbone to support a cast of Chinook and Simcoe hops. The beautiful nose holds notes of pine, grapefruit pith and orange zest.

473mL can, pours a clear orange with a small white head. Nose has some tired, earthy hops, a touch of orange rinds, and bready caramel malt. Flavour is both bitter and malty, with lots of bitter orange rinds, resinous hops, some earthiness, and bready malt. Much better on the palate than the nose. Quite bitter hop expression to go with the malt-driven nature of this. Surprisingly good.

Amber, dull haze, medium head. Surprisingly weak for an old school IPA…mild pine and citrus but also mild malt. More of amber ale or mild apa. The ravens on the label sre cool; they deserve better.

Poured from 473mL can. Hazed orangey gold with full white head. Biscuity caramel malt forward with grapefruit and pine hops. Okay.

16oz can pours a clear gold with some clumpy, white head. Nose has yeast, citrus, lemon, flowers. Flavor is a bit stale, grist, yeast, some dried lemon peel. Finishes flabby.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver, tag 20245609 (last 2 digits unclear)
Hazy golden colour. Aroma of malt, some herbaceous hop. Good mouthfeel, quite strong malt base (but still modern leaning), with bold herbaceous bitterness.
It's not sticky or caramelly, but the hop, besides the bitterness, doesn't add much.
