Cask at the Admiralty - Trafalgar Square, London. Pours clear russet with a frothy white head. Musty grain in the nose, some grass. Light sweet flavor, gritty, lightly abrasive, with lots of grains, toast and earthy hops. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Grainy and bitter on the finish, a little musty, woody. So so.

Cask handpull at the Cherry Tree, Woodbridge. Poured a copper brown colour with a small off white head. Aroma of caramel, malt and dark fruit. Light sweetness and quite heavy on bitterness. Soft carbonation, medium body. Bitterness to finish. Decent enough though much less hoppy than average APA.

Cask @ Abel Heywood, Manchester. Copper-gold with a creamy head. It’s an easy drinking bitter with a mild bitterness that has a mild malt character.
