A traditional brown session Bitter, Just Jane is a complex session ale with layers of malt and hops with an intense fruity finish. For every pint sold F.A.B will donate 10p to the Just Jane Avro Lancaster NX611 restoration project.

Royal Air Force Station Fiskerton was built as a Bomber airfield in the early part of WII and No.49 Squadron RAF was stationed here. Our 49 SQN Best Bitter, is a nod to the men and women who worked on or flew the Avro Lancasters stationed here at RAF Fiskerton.

Ingredients:
Water, Pale Malt, Chocolate Malt, Hops and Yeast. Contains: Gluten.

Draft at nerax. Amber brown. Nutty, raisin, herbal, plum. Creamy palate. Thinner mouthfeel.

# 2836; 4/2022. Caramel, cola-like aroma, bread. Brilliant dark amber body; persistant off-white head. Bread, cherries, iron, rye. Good darker bitter, slightly detergent. 0,5 l, bottle, local shop, Lincoln (Lincolnshire, England).

500ml bottle; BBE Aug 2019. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 17th Jan 2019. Lovely looking beer, mahogany body, clean and clear, on top a beige blanket of foam. Malty front to the nose and taste, slight cinnamon/rye aromas and flavours within the taste also. Liked it.

Cask at the GBBF 2018 day 1 07/08/2018.. A reddy amber coloured pour with a a halo of off white head. Aroma is nutty rasin cake, nutty. Flavour is composed of. Flavour is composed od semi sweet apple, raisin.. Palate is semi sweet, oily, lowish condition. Meh.

Cask at GBBF. It pours clear brown with a small white head. The aroma is earthy, sweet, oily, caramel, toffee, toasted nut and brown bread. The taste is dry, bitter, oily, toasted nut, spice, tannin, cork, earth and wood. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Basic bitter. Drinkable I suppose.

30/3/2018. Bottle from Chuckling Cheese Co, Skegness. Pours bright dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, fruit and light veg. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, thin texture, average carbonation.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ Højbjerg Tasting ] - Saxo House, Højbjerg - Aarhus, Denmark. [ As F.A.B. Just Jane ].Clear medium amber yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, light toffee. Flavor is light moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, pale malt, toffee notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20171118] 5-3-6-3-11
