500ml bottle. Jet black colour with small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Roasty, dark malty and minimally smoky aroma with a touch of liquorice, peat, tar, a fruity touch of blueberry. Taste is bitter, roasty dark malty, slightly bitter and fruity hoppy with a metallic touch, hints of liquorice, a touch of blueberry.

Draft @ Amager Ølhus, Copenhagen. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty caramel aroma. Roasted malty spicy caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty spicy caramel finish.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ Højbjerg Tasting ] - Saxo House, Højbjerg - Aarhus, Denmark. [ As Ebeltoft JuleStout ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, dark malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, chocolate, roasted, coffee. Bottled:
Black with ruby edges. Mid sized head. Aroma is roasted malt, toffee and a little bit of licorice. Surprisingly thin mouth feel. Taste is roasted malt, toffee and some coffee.

Bottle. Pours opaque dark coffee with medium offwhite head. Aroma is rotated malt, syrup, caramel, soy sauce, mint, anise and coffee. Taste is medium sweet, light to medium bitter, faint salty and faint to light acidic. Body is oily with soft carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of sweet licorice, malt, mint, caramel, apples, rye bread and milk.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel, cocoa and hops. Choc finish.

Bottle. Nearly black with creamy beige head. Mild aroma, roast, notes of chocolate. Fruity, roasted flavour, light coffee. Some nutty notes. Decent but a little light.
