On tap at the Brewhouse, Islington, 11/2015. Poured pale gold with minimal head. Aroma of rye, and sweet bread. Medium sweet, light bitterness. Medium body, texture sticky. Finish sweet, dry, slightly metallic.

Cask at the brewpub - London. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. The aroma holds ripening citrus, orane, pale bread, minerals. Medium sweet flavor with bready sugars, faint marmalade, minerals, hay, slight graininess. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; pretty good condition. Finishes sweet with mellow bitter hay and grass, grainy pale bread, minerals, ripe lemon. So so overall.

Cask at the Brewpub. Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and dry. Mild fine carbonation. Smooth pale malts. A distinct nutty tone in the mid, walnuts and hazlenuts! The back end is minty mild orange. Finishes smooth and semi dry, Mild bitter linger. Curious beer, drinkable though.

Cask at the brewpub, 22/10/14. Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent off white head that retains very well. Nose is citric peel, rye bread, spice, straw, biscuit. Taste comprises caramel, bitter orange, light perfumed notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with subtle bitterness. Ok.

Cask handpump at the brewhouse. Mostly clear golden coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Some lacing. Aroma is fruity berry, grassy lemon citrus hop, hint of grainyness. . flavour is crisp grainy, hint of spicy rye and nice berry, lemon hop. Hint of grassy hop bitterness in the finish. Some chalk in the water profile. Solid well balanced hop bitterness. Palate is semi sweet, decent cask condition. Lingering grassy hop. OK.
