25/7/2024. Tap at the 34th Ipswich Beer & Cider Festival. Pours hazy pale orange gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma is wheaty, citrus, lemon, clove, banana, bubblegum. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, very light sourness. Medium body, average carbonation. Well done.

Tap at the colemore, a translucent golden orange coloured pour with a lasting fluffy white head. Aroma is loose wheat mice banana loaf, clove, hefe yeast phenols, fluffy wheat, banana bread, light tang banana chews. Palate is soft and fluffy wheat, light tang, highish carbonation. Good.

Botled 500ml (Alko web)
Golden colour, a bit cloudy, small white head. Banana and bubblegum in the nose. Light-bodied. Flavour has also banana and bubblegum but is not really sweet. Some clove notes. It is Wheat Ale here and in the label but it is really German Hefeweizen. Okish.

On keg at Shilling. Appearance - murky yellow. Thin white head. Nose - massive banana, maybe some of the expected nutmeg, but searching a bit for it. Taste - yep, lush banana. Bubblegum. Palate - sweet, medium bodied and creamy. Overall - pretty much on style.

Bottle picked up at the brewery. It’s also in Morrison’s, probably way cheaper. Anyway. Needs a gentle roll. Hazed medium gold. Thick fairly loose lasting white foam. Yeah it’s very much a wheat beer. Maybe a little drier than some. A tad thin. Drying finish. Decent enough although nothing to write home about.

500ml bottle from Thornbridge Beer Club - hazyish golden body with a rocky white top. Typical wheaty with bags of cloves, banana and spiciness. Quality summer drinking material.

Creamy white head left a froth on a finely carbonated unclear golden coloured body. Lemon & wheat aroma. Medium bodied, foamy, soft & tingly on the back with a cloying aft. Cereal, lemon, banana & clove tastes with a tangy finish. Nice one.
