Bottle @ tasting 30.1.21. Poured dark brown in color with a thin off white head. Roasted malty aroma, getting cocoa powder and light ashyness. Roasted malts, chocolate and bitterness. Balanced, tasty stout. All you want in a stout really.

Draught @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Smooth, roasty and slightly ashy with some coffee, chocolate malts and slight bitterness, hints of licorice. Quite balanced and tasty classic stout.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20201008) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and lightly sweetness. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, lightly sweetness, hint of ash, liquorice and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, liquorice and bitterness. A pleasant burnt brew with balanced notes of liquorice and dark chocolate.
