Our annual Double IPA brewed in celebration of one of the greatest. Brewed with Cascade, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops, incredibly Tropical-- papaya, tangerine, passionfruit, and guava explode on the nose. Supporting rye character accents the fruit qualities in perfect harmony, creating a wonderful stage for refreshment and enjoyment. Zippy and complex... who couldn’t love this?

Can, 9%. Unclear dark yellow with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, citrus, fruit peel and orange. Flavour is malt, fruit, hops, citrus, orange, sweet and a little bitter.

Can. Pours as hazy yellow with a slight gold hue and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of citrus and tropical fruits with a sweet grain backbone. Flavor is similar with some bitter citrus and tropical fruits through out and a bit of a grassy note underlying.

Tap @ Mikkeller Tokyo. Pours creamy orange, hazy and with some foam on top. Fruity and fresh nose, tropical, some mikan peels, overripe fruits, good hop kick there as well. Taste has good fruity feel to it, sweet but at this point still balanced with bitterness. Booze there but for me hidden quite well, bitterness turning dry and lingering in the finish. Tasty and undeniably double IPA.

Can from Cap Tap. Pours hazy gold with a slight white head. Aroma is sort of citrus/arm pit for me. Med ++ body. Flavor is citrus/pine/bit of earth. And there's some complicated non-citrus fruit. Quite pleasant; somewhat towards dank; arguably juicy; not wholly dry; moderately bitter. Not so over the top as I anticipated, but pretty nice.

Can split at L42, from a trade with Desmond Verger, 14/11/17. Hazed golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is pine needle, grapefruit, citric tinged straw, dank hop tones, grass. Taste comprises raw Tropicana, mango, pine resin, grass, toasted bread, light lemon load. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a dank hop rip. Solid DIPA action.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Can of Bois boost. Cheers Colin. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Light palate, semi dry and with decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts, thin creamy sweetness. Smooth cooling pine. Light spicy hop. Smooth piney citrus. Some mild fresher orange. Light finish. Super smooth and drinkable.

Can 1pt. @ home. [ As Mikkeller San Diego Freddie Murkury ].Murky - muddy medium orange yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, pine, grapefruit, tropical fruit, fruity juice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, tropical fruit, citrus - grapefruit, fruit juice, dry, minerals, pineapple.
