PIERUN je spodě kvašené polotmavé pivo. Ve vůni a chuti dominuje bohata sladovost s tóny praženého sladu. Barva je jantarová. V ústech zanechává příjemný krémový pocit. Vyznačuje se středním řizem. Chuť piva je sladové s jemnou chmelovou hořkosti.

Albrechtický - Pierun 13 Amber Lager 5.1%
Clear amber orange beer, big creamy off-white head, a little stable, somewhat adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, caramel, hay, cow fodder. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very spicy, herbal bitterness, sweet malts, hoppy, soft roast, tannins. Aftertaste: very dry, malty, a little sweet, clean, some banan, sweet grains, ok, very decent lager!

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren. Amberish coloured, medium sized off-white head, caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, light phenolic and bit herbal with dry bitterish finish.

0.5 l can thanks to Marko who brought it from Prague, shared with Ogi and him. Unclear amber, small off-white head. Bready and biscuit aroma, hints of caramel, hints of cardboard. Flavour is gingerbread, biscuit, cardboard, spice and yeast. Moderately astringent. Moderate carbonation, dry finish.

Can from Galerie piva. Bit hazy amber body, thick off-white head, low, medium retention. Caramelly, bit floral, bit spicy-phenolic aroma. Lean, dry taste, herbal, floral, bitter, but sadly some yeast autolysis as well, which doesn't help with the low body, clashing with the hoppiness -which would work on a clean, bit fuller body... eh. Better luck next time.

0,5l can shared by a friend @ Piispansilta. Pours clear amber with a medium head. Aroma is malts with caramel. Flavor is malts, caramel, some vegetables, plenty of hops. Not quite clean, but close. Decent.
