Our Lucaria series is one of our absolute favourites; since it began in 2016 we have done a range of really fun versions and this one is no different. Using everyone’s favourite coffee accompaniment for its delightful caramel flavour we found it perfectly complements our ice cream Porter with its velvety body and notes of vanilla and chocolate.

Cask at St Albans beer & cider festival 2024, St Albans, Herts. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Sweet, roasty, malty, caramel, vanilla, biscoff taste and aroma. Decent enough porter if a little thin.

Cask at the Sheffield Tap. Pours near-black with a thin beige head. Aromas of caramel and biscoff, light roast. Taste comes together nicely, not too sweet. Roast with a hint of biscoff finish.

Cask. Thornbridge Tap. Mostly black. Sparkler induced tight creamy pale beige foam. Lots of sweet chocolate and caramel. Biscoff definitely. Taste thankfully is fairy dry and a bit nutty and vinous. Semi sweet. Very moreish overall and obviously in perfect nick. Dry roasty vinous finish.

Cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - and number 400 from Thornbridge - opaque deep brown body, tan head. Big buttery speculoos nose, sweet and creamy as most in the Lucaria series, with the added hit of spicy biscuits. Pretty special.
