Keg at Mad Squirrel, Amersham, Bucks. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a thin off white/beige head on top. Pleasant sweet chocolate, caramel, cinnamon, biscoffi taste and aroma. It’s a decent little stout but quite thin.

Panda. Big thanks to Cloin. Not quite an opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head, short lived. Thin and mildly dry palate, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin dark malts, decent dark chocolate though. The requisite cinnamon and biscuit vibe. Light and semi dry finish. Yeah, hits the right marks flavour wise but the thin mouthfeel is a big drawback for me.

440ml can from Mad Squirrel, Watford. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, frothy tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, biscuit dough, caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, somewhat light, roasty, liqourice, dark chocolate, light coffee, liqourice bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation. Smells like I expected it to taste.

Can at home, picked up from MS HW, 11/12/23. Black with a tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, biscuit base, dark malts, spice, light herb, burnt caramel. Taste comprises cocoa powder, caramel wafer, biscuit, molasses, nutty, faint coffee, light roast, twist of spice in a winter cheer kind of way. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Fun enough stout ... you can pick out the Biscoffi notes.
