Bottle online from Beer:Shop, Hitchin. Pours clear deep brown with tan foam. Aroma: roast, oatmeal, coffee, char, malt loaf, earthy. Taste: moderate sweet & bitter. Medium body with soft carbonation.

Bottle from St Albans beer shop, St Albans, Herts. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, coffee taste/aroma. A pleasant enough stout.

8/1/2022. Bottle sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of deep roasted malts, dark chocolate, camp coffee, cocoa, hint of citrus and orange chocolate. Moderate sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Pretty decent.

Panda thanks to Cloin: Poured a deep brown almost black with a tan colored head. Aroma is roasted malts, rich coffee, dark chocolate. Taste is roasted malts, blends well with the coffee/espresso beans, chocolate, smooth somewhat dry finish.

Bottle at home, picked up from Tring Brewery shop, 06/11/21. Black with a good sized khaki head that dissipates to the edge of the glass. Nose is dark malts, light coffee bean, dark chocolate, nutty, light roast. Taste comprises roast malts, light charr, cocoa sprinkle, ashen tones, coffee grinds, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Decent stout.

Bottle at home picked up from Beer shop St Albans. A clea dark mahogany brown black coloured pour with a lasting loose mid tan head. Aroma is rich earthy coffeecharred wood, raisin , malt loaf. Flavour is composed of earthy roasted barley, coffee, bark, oats, burnt cake. Palate is smooth, slick, mellow carbonation, light tang.
