*Big Sabro warning*. Of all our previous beers, Lanky Boy from 2021 has had the highest number of return requests, so here he is, but even lankier still. A huge Sabro and El Dorado gooey mess. We’ve ramped up the abv to 7% and gone wild with the hop additions. If you’re not a Sabro fan, please avoid. Pineapple, vanilla, coconut, tropical orange and bubble-gum in cloudy white heaven.

16oz can pours a pulpy yellow. Nose is pineapple, herbs, flowers. Flavor is sweet and malt, oats, pineapple sherbet, perfume. Pillowy finish.

Can pour at the April DC Ratebeer tasting. Poured a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was melon, orange. Flavor had Melon, orange, orange zest. Juicy. Pineapple. Coconut.

Can split at the DC tasting, at Nimbleprop pad, 13/04/23. Hazed golden orange with a good sized off white covering. Nose is grass, melon, bitter orange, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises lemon rind, herb, bitter orange, trace of lime, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow hop bitterness. Okay IPA but hoped for more Sabro.

DC Crew host the Brits invasion Tasting, Can: Poured a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is juicy, citrus, coconut, tropical. Taste is juicy hops, citrus, tropical, coconut.

Keg at St Albans beer shop, St Albans, Herts. A hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, lemon, coconut, pineapple, tropical fruit taste and aroma. Pleasant enough sabro number from Baron.

Shared can at Ebenezers, Crewe – thanks Kevin ! Pours a murky lemon with minmal white head. An unattractive aroma of sweaty socks. In the mouth it is sharp and bitter with floral hops, a whole does of lemon, some coconut, plus hints of grapefruit, vanilla and kiwi. Not my kind of beer at all.
