0.3 l bottle from 'AH XL', best before December 2024. Clear, very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, minimally fruity aroma of caramel, some nuts and a touch of raisins. Quite sweet, malty, a little roasty, slightly fruity taste of caramel, toasted nuts, some cocoa and hints of raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant Bock, way better than expected.

Fles van de locale Albert Heijn. Roodbruin bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is bitterzoet met iets van caramel, wat kandij en donker fruit. Standaard bockbier.

30 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Albert Heijn, Culemborg. Brown with an off-white head. Dark caramel aroma with some dried fruit. Sweet taste with a low bitter finish. Decent budget bock but nothing more.

30cl Fles van AH. Bruine kleur, beige kraag. Caramel, bruine suiker, mout, wat donker fruit, alle bokbiervakjes worden keurig ingekleurd, maar heel spannend wordt het nooit, na verloop van tijd wordt het vlak en saai. Lichte tot medium body. Degelijke budget-bock.
