With a truly distinctive golden colour Ampthill Gold is brewed using yeast, the finest hops, and a specially selected amber malt that gives it a rich golden tone. Subtle flavours of biscuit from the malted barley perfectly compliment the crisp bitterness and delicate hop aroma.

Ingredients: Water, malted barley, hops, yeast. Contains gluten.

Bottle from Blue Glass, Bedford. Dark gold, almost clear. Bit of creamy white head. Orange peel and harsh grain on the aroma. Taste is bittersweet, with naked malt flavour and a touch of sulphurous astringency. Long bitter malty finish. Not all that great but drinkable.
