'Pudding stout' full of sweet- salted caramel and rich velvety notes of cocoa. Roasted malts come through on the finish bringing a little burnt- bitterness to this otherwise indulgent ale.

Cask at the Wellington, Sheffield on 22nd February 2019.Impenetrable sepia-brown with disappearing tan foam and almost no lacing. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Caramel and nutty malts in-mouth and a sweet caramel finish. Sweet overall. Smooth mouthfeel and lighter bodied than I’d call for a stout.
