Cask at the Old Cross Tavern, Hertford on 20th July 2016. Coppery brown with an off-white film and scant initial lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel malts with a roasty touch. Very malty in-mouth with roastiness and a fruity citric tang on the tongue. Leafy herbiness, citric tang and biscuit malt in the finish. Smooth yet engaging whole-mouth texture, and medium body.
