Bottle. Dark amber. Slight haze dulls it up a bit. Guessing this wasn't lagered for six months? Aroma has a lot of sticky to it. A touch of toasty malt, but also plastic. Way, way too sweet. Needs hop bitterness, and the malts lack that decoction richness. Just sticky underfermented stuff - again this does not seem to have been given proper lagering time. None of the liquid bread richness or clean body that I'd expect in a marzen. Okay, yeah, this misses the mark by quite a bit.

A reddish orange marzen with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light fruity esters. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with dark fruits, light mineral notes, pleasant. On tap at brewery.
