(473ml batch 2 can from BG18e, Quebec City) Pours rather hazy orange gold with an average white head and some lace. Notes of ripe mango, sweet orange juice and overripe papaya with a fair bit of fruity, slightly dank/piney resins, both on the nose and particularly in the flavour. Fairly sweet up front, bready malt body, becoming off-dry, lightly bitter and sticky with resins and a chunk of that overripe papaya into the finish, subtle warming alcohol. Medium bodied, oily, average carbonation. Nice TIPA overall, not insanely smooth or totally hiding the sugar/booze but a solid drinker where the Ekuanot is at its best.
A hazed golden DIPA with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet biscuit malt with light tropical fruits, faint bile, resinous hops. In mouth, sweet fruity malt doughy character, resinous hops, tropical fruit, alcohol warmth, OK. On tap at 18e rue location.
