(355ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours rather hazy deep gold with a decent white head and a little lace. Notes of underripe/green mango, papaya, grapefruit, grass and leaves, some citrus resins, off-dry and fairly neutral malt character, smooth and drying into the finish with some citrus/floral and softly piney bitterness. Light to medium body is somewhat slick with soft carbonation. Not one of my favourites of the series, being stranded between the juicy 'orange' and drier 'green' fruit characteristics and not really as good as their examples of either. Solid as expected though.
A hazed yellow ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, tropical fruit, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of piney floral hops, treacle, very nice. On tap at 18e rue location.
