Wow. Being a Toronto resident, you get to know some of your fellow RB people, which is part of the point of this site for someone who doesn't drink a lot like me. It helps me pick the best, and skip the right ones. But it feels like Lubiere and I had totally different beers. (I'm usually in the same ballpark as him.) It's to the point where I wonder if Indie made a mistake when the bottled this beer, or some under-age teenagers had an illicit party at Indie and drank some of the beer then watered the rest of it down so at a casual glance it would still appear to be at the right level. It pours a slightly-cloudy, but cheery pink colour with a sheet of slightly pink head that likes to stick around. But this beer is just thin. I get mild tastes of brett, currents, barely there malt, and honey. But it's just so watery. It's, dare I say, easy drinking in the worst possible way. I'll be interested in seeing if future reviews see the same issues. BTW this bottle was delivered from Indie during our super-fun stay-home-time or you'll die/kill someone.

A rosy red Saison with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity cherry malt with light Brett, light grapeskins, musty notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of Brett, ground cherries, lactic acid, Epsom salts, very nice. Bottle at Rooted in Place.
