A rich and decadent stout brewed with a decent amount of chocolate malt and several forms of cocoa. Sweet and full-bodied with a bitter dark chocolate finish.

Can. Dram Shop. Black in the glass. Slim semi lacing beige head. Nose has some vinous notes. Cocoa powder. Some bitter chocolate. Taste is fairly dry with an earthy bitterness. Smooth overall. Gets a bit twangy on the finish. Not really a sweet stout.

Cask at Pig's Ear. Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. The malts are, perhaps unsurprisingly, quite milky sweet, as in very. Decent cocoa dusted dark chocolate malts. Tangy ripe fruits on the back end, plums and berries. Fairly dry finish. Tidy.
