Small Beer Amber is a revival of our beloved Steam beer, available for the first time in can and with a new name to celebrate the beer's reddish hue. Brewed with British rye, our Amber brings together dried fruits and subtle spice, with a rounded hop finish.

Cask at the Duke of St Albans, Highgate on 7th October 2025. Deep copper with shallow, tan foam and spot lacing. Malty aroma. Mildly malty in-mouth with hints of cooked stone fruits. A transient of citrus. A light, malty finish. Very smooth mouthfeel and an expectedly light body. Does rather well for such a low gravity.

Cask at Pig's Ear. Bright clear amber beer, small off white head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts, sweet enough, a trace of caramel. Thin orange and orange peel. Light finish. Clean but lacking flavour. And interest.
