Can: Poured a cloudy purple-ish color ale with a large pink color head with good retention with some lacing. Aroma of blueberry with some tart notes with some cinnamon also perceptible. Taste is a mix of blueberry notes with some tart notes and cinnamon notes, which are not in perfect harmony with the other flavors. Body is full with good carbonation. Weird mix of flavors that didn’t really work that well for me.

On tap at Ile Sauvage, pours a hazy dark red with a tiny white head. Aroma reveals an interesting mix of cinnamon, vanilla and blueberries — like a blueberry pie — which seems to drown out the house culture. Flavour is similar, with lots of tart blueberry, accentuated by cinnamon and to a lesser extent, vanilla. The house culture is more or less buried, but I do pick up the lacto base which isn't all that invigorating. Nice blueberry pie character; but not the most interesting or complex sour.

Purplish colour, and no head. The aroma is mostly blueberry, maybe there's some of the cinnamon, but it's mostly blueberry. On the palate, it has quite a bit of tartness, lactic, and then there's a bit of cinnamon and a touch of that blueberry. So it's okay, but the sharpness of the base beer and the lack of counterbalancing sugars holds this one back.
