Can: Poured a slightly hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some light tropical floral hops undertones. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some tropical juicy citrus hops notes and floral undertones and some residual sugar. Body is below average with good carbonation and some fusel notes. Lacks balance with too much alcohol showing.

Poured from the tap. Hazy gold with small white head. Citrus and tropical hops, a bit of booze, could have a touch more cohesion, but decent.

473mL can, pours a cloudy bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of tropical fruits, dank citrus hops, and a touch of citrus. Flavour is bright and citrusy, with lots of tropical fruits, citrus hops, some dankness, and biscuity malt. Dank, citrus and tropical. Really really nice.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Blond, but dull, with slight haze, and medium head; I can't find a date stamp on the can. Notes of jam, of overripe fruit, it's moderately sweet, but balanced between alcohol and bitterness, there are some hop resins, if not clearly piney. It's slightly oxidized, but it's bold and still quite enjoyable.

Not familiar with the Salvo thing, nor have I ever had a beer before with Solero hops, so this is pretty cool. Orangey and opaque. Thick head. Bright orangey, grapefruity, kumquaty citrus bomb. On the palate, big body, lots of alcohol. Fairly sweet malt profile, but also a lot of that green bitterness and some hop burn. Assertive TIPA, even with only medium bitterness. The citrusy aromatics of the hops are appreciated, if the burlier aspects of the TIPA style overpower the hop expression a bit too much on the palate.
