Cask gravity at the Pig's ear beer festival 05/12/2017. A light hazed dull gold coloured pour with no head. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty, twig and grassy. Flavour is composed of grassy, dirty grains, apple notes. Palate is grainsy, lowish carbonation.

Pig's Ear. Cask. Hazy deep gold beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Light dry palate, modest fine carbonation. Dry pale malts. Esters. Floral tangerine and ripe orange peel. Light dry finish. Okay.

Cask at Pig's Ear '17,day one, 05/12/17. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is bready malts, straw, orange peel, toasted grains. Taste comprises bitter citric peel, straw, toasted grains, caramel, light pinch of spice, raw fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with moderate bitterness. Adequate cask amber.

ABV: 4.7%. Clear medium amber yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, pale malt, sharp. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, biscuit malt, sweet malt, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20171207]

Cask at Pigs Ear 2017 - Hackney. Pours unclear orange-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds lightly toasted grains, orange peel. Lightly sweet, with more pale grains, bitter hay, vague citrus. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Finishes with further pale, husky grains, lemon rind. Alright stuff.
