Cask at Crafty Crow, Nottingham on 28th May 2014. Clear brown with off-white ring-and-film head and spot lacing. Rich roasty malt and sweet caramel in aroma. Liquid is malty with roastiness, smoky touch and citric tang. Leafy, grassy finish with fruitiness. Light texture and body.

568ml Bottle - Dark brown with red tinges. Roasted, nutty and fruity aroma. Walnuts, cocoa, caramel and roasted malt all feature in the taste.

(Cask at Old Mitre, Hatton Garden, London, 19 May 2010) Reddish amber colour with brief, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of nuts, caramel and dried fruit. Malty, slightly fruity taste with caramel, nuts and dried fruit. Medium body, with some malt sweetness. Nice and tasty strongish mild.
