Can on the Central Scotland & Fife Push-Pull tour with 712 and friends, thanks to Nigel, 06/10/24. Pitch black topped with a tan cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is earthy roast, charr, raisins, hint of rum, spice, fruit cake mix, toffee fudge. Taste comprises coconut shavings, bourbon, spice, roasted bite, dark chocolate shavings, modest rum. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good warming kiss of alcohol. Solid.

Can at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, coconut, vanilla, dark fruit, raisin, taste is similar, muscovado sugar, dry finish.

CBJ Bottleshare. Can thanks to Dan. Opaque dark brown beer, small dark tan head. Smooth palate, modest fine carbonation. Good rich dark malts, good dark chocolate, some ice cream van chocolate syrup. Slightly tangy bourbon barrel soaked fruits. Rum is there but much less. Nice brew.

Can shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks to Daniel osprey for this one. A thick dark jet black coloured pour a lovely mid tan head. Aroma is semi sweet tangy nordic berries, dark chocolate, berries. Palate is semi sweet, tangy, highish carbonation, airy carbonation. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, intense dark chocolate, dark berries, blackberry z oily. Super intense, some smoke.
