Thin beige head left a covering on a still, reddish brown body. Fruity aroma with eucalyptus, herbs & spices - quite festive! Thin body, watery, minimal carbonation - much like drinking water. Spicy tastes with eucalyptus, pepper, aniseed, red berry & jam.

500 ml bottle, from Ales By Mail. ABV is 4.5%. Reddish brown colour, small off-white head. Distinct aroma of ginger, cinnamon and possibly other Yuletide spices. Light bodied. The flavour is medium dry, with very distinct (maybe too distinct) notes of ginger, cinnamon and other Yuletide spices. Hints of citrus. By all means, I like the spices, but would prefer that they were somewhat better balanced by the malts and hops. A slight but pleasant ginger burn in the aftertaste. Very drinkable beer after all.

500ml bottle. Clear, copper-ish, chestnut colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Mellow malty and mildly spicy aroma, notes of cinnamon, ginger,a touch of cola. Taste is initially homogeneously mellow malty and mildly spicy, breaks into slightly loose, if not isolated hints of cinnamon and ginger, and moves thereby to dry (cinnamon) and minimally soapy (ginger) regions; finally minimally overspiced and slightly inharmonious.
