Cask @ The Plough, Doncaster. Straw with an inviting white head. Smells of gooseberries, like a good Sauvignon Blanc. Taste us a sweet fruity hit. Yes there are bitter edges but this is a sweet-led beer. Surprisingly good, the fruity hop flavour is balanced and adds to the profile without taking it over.

Cask at the Black Horse, Barnet on 18 January 2014. Poured a pale golden colour with a light haze and a thin white head. Pretty good lacing. Definite gooseberry in the aroma with some elderflower and chewy malt. Initial flavours of brown sugar, apple pie and lemongrass. Finish was grassy hops, tart fruit and caramel. Pretty well balanced and a drinkable fruity beer.
