Cask at Maypole, Cambridge on 23 November 2013. Poured a deep ruby with a rocky tan head. Aroma of grassy hops, roast malt and burnt sugar. Sharp pine needle bitterness on the initial flavour with some coffee and brown sugars. Finish is a mix of hop resin, cold coffee and grains. Pretty good mix of dark and pale.

Cask at Hand in Hand, Brighton. It pours darkest brown with a small beige head. The nose is roasty, toast, coffee, earth and cocoa. The taste is rich roast, bitter pine, coffee grinds, varnish, mild acidity and caramel with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Rather tasty and quaffable. A rather nice cda.

4.4% Black cola colour thin collar of tan bubbles. Some chocolate some hop. Bit thin lacked condition. Ok flavours if you like black ipa which I am not a fan of. Cask handpull at The Flower Pot Maidstone.
