Cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 27 October. Poured a pale golden colour with a thin, scummy white head. Aroma of light citrus and floral hops and some caramel. Sweet malty flavours with tinned fruit and corn syrup. Finish was watery with some flat malt and diluted sugariness. IPA in name only.

Cask @ The Foot of the Walk, Leith [031113]
Blonde, clear, thin white head, some lacing
Aroma - very little here, slight fruits
Taste - very light fruits initially, then a wave of bitter cereal heads for th efinish, grain, flavour rather poor
Palate - Light body, quite bitter. Finish - very dry, dirty bitter hay
Overall - Not that pleasant to drink, dirty bitter finish. Not impressed with this at all

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Amber with a ring of white head; rather sickly aroma; earthy taste with some soft grainy malts; and a light vegetative bitterness. Not particularly pleasant or memorable.

Cask. Mid-yellow with thick creamy head and a high malty aroma. Malty character.

Cask at the moon under water Watford jdw. Golden straw pour with a light haze loose white halo of head. Aroma is light caramel, honey malt, very light earthy hop. Flavour is English yeast esters, light crystal, some lemon and earthy hop. lacklustre.

Cask at JDW The Square Peg; hazy pale amber pour with big white frothy head, sweet malt aroma, hint of citrus on the taste as well as sweet honey, some malt background, low bitterness, quite refreshing.
