Rough goings, with a metallic undercurrent accenting dry espresso and anise notes, followed by sharp bourbon heat and an over-oaked, bitter, chalky finish. Brine and pennies and black cherry peek through in the fade. Feel bad this pint was a friend's introduction to Oyster Stout.

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with loads of vanilla and bourbon barrel, licorice, nice. In mouth, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, bourbon barrel, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice. Can at DLD 2019.
