Enjoyed at the Ottawa brewery, April 1, 2019. Clean, deep amber colour with a small light-beige cap and some ring around the brew. Fruity nose from the malt with light smokiness and caramel. The taste shows more of the fruits with some berry notes and hints of the smoked wood. A well-blended fruity red ale with mild smoke. Kind of gives a maple bush lingering feel.

A reddish copper ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light peated notes, loads of butterscotch, cloying. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with light smoked malt, grassy hops, OK. On tap at Ottawa location.
