Bottle with expiry 2018-12-31. Dark brown, almost black, almost no head. Nose is faint. Mouth is prune, raisin, ash, oatmeal. Medium bitterness, light sweetness. Could be more smooth. Decent but nothing exciting.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Probus Boreal ].Clear dark brown black colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, oat, wood, light burnt, light smoke, light vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, burnt, vanilla, wood, oat, smoke notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Sampled @ Festival Dobrego Piwa Wroclaw 2017. Fast schwarze Farbe, geringe braune Schaumkrone. Geruch ist mild röstmalzig, süß schokoladig, Lactose. Geschmack ist röstmalzig bitter, Karamell, Vanille, Holz.
