Growler. Hazy golden amber with a frothy white head. Aroma of light caramel, sticky bread, some flowers. Fairly light bodied. Sweet and bready (also some apricot!?) with a decent bitter kick at the end. Some spices and lemon. More of the modern golden Festbiers than the rich caramelly type. Not bad.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, floral, grass and hint of citrus. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Keg at the Old Brewery - Greenwich. Pours perfectly clear, auburn-gold with a fine, foamy white head. The nose has simple, bready malts and light caramel. Light to medium sweet flavor with further bread, semi-dry caramel, faint leaves, doughy bread and a bit of cabbage. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with yet more bready malts, mellow caramel and cabbage. OK but it really doesn’t hit all the notes I would expect from a märzen.
