Bottle. Color: Dark reddish brown, mocha head. Aroma: Dark malt, burnt sugar, hints of cocoa. Taste: Smooth, ligthtly creamy body. Dark malt, some burnt sugar, some dark chocolate and floral hop. Moderate sweet and moderate to over moderate bitter. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Long lasting finish. Nice Dubbelbock, fortunately not as sweetish and malty as most Dutch (Dubbel)bock beers.

Dark brown with a foaming, light beige head. Aroma promises ashes, burnt caramel and berries. Taste is moderate bitter up front with a long, bitter finish. Medium-bodied, the sharp carbonation does it no favors. Decent bock that’s not so malt-forward as the usual offerings.
