(On tap @ MBCC 2017 Blue Session, Copenhagen) Pours murky brown-black with a tiny head. Notes of heavy dark malts, milk chocolate, coconut/bounty bar, spicebox, earthy roasted malt/coffee, vanilla, caramelized sugar, fairly sweet overall but with a pretty substantial roast bitterness in the finish. Medium body, light carbonation. Solid though slightly lacking in weight and balance.

Draught @ MBCC '17 [ Blue Session ]. - Mikkeller Beer Copenhagen Celebration 2017, Øksnehallen, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 København V, Danmark. [ As Mikkeller Beer Geek Bounty Island ].Dark black brown colour with virtually no head, fully diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, bounty bar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, bounty bar, coconut, chocolate, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20170512] 7-3-8-4-15

Tap @MBCC, Blue Session. Thick and black. No head. Strong malty, coffee aroma, boozy? Slick, smooth. Roasted with light choc and licorice. Some coconut, but rather discreet.

Nice light brown creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet mineraly, raisins, cinnamon, dark sugar, minerals, dark malts, grass, alcohol, bark, toast, toffee. Taste is slightly sweet mineraly, dark sugar, raisins, minerals, cocoa, cinnamon, dark malts, bark, alcohol, toast, toffee, chocolate pudding. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mineraly mouthfeel. Nice.
