Tawny copper ale brewed with Maris Otter Pale, Crystal and Dark malts for a deep complex flavour, balanced well by the tasty Simcoe hops.

Cask at the Royal Standard, Cambridge. Amber/copper, clear, with a wispy conglomeration of white head. Biscuity malt smell. Pleasant but nothing special. Taste is bitter with a bready sweetness in the middle before retreating to a full bitter finish. Stone fruit and taffy on the aftertaste. Very full body for the ABV. This is an especially tasty bitter.

Cask in the CASK Pub & Kitchen, June 2010. Clear amber with a cream white head. Richly hoppy aroma with a touch of grapefruit and a grassy kick, just a pinch of salt on the tongue (lovely) and an exquisite hopp fruity finish on a slightly saline mouthfeel. Superb.
