Guest cask at the Wenlock Arms, London on 28th June 2009. Reddish black with a lasting white head. Slight yeastiness of aroma, soon malty with roastiness on a saline mouthfeel with a slight hint of salt and smoke. The slight saltiness is desirable and compels the drinker to ask for more. Very satisfying drink.
