Slightly opalescent orange colour, moderate sized creamy white head; aroma of floral, citruy and caramel notes as well as some orange zest oils; taste of a typical bitter with a bit more hoppy notes and some citruses; not bad

Cask (handpump) @ Wetherspoons - Victoria Station (JDW), Unit 5 (1st Floor above WHSmith), Victoria Station Concourse, Victoria, Greater London, England SW1V 1JT. [ As Adnams Shingle Shells ].Clear medium to dark brown - red amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dark malt, moderate hoppy, orange, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, caramel, caramel sweet - toffee sweet, hop bitter, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20151207] 6-3-7-3-13

Cask @ White Swan, Hebden Bridge. Dark copper-red with a thick creamy head. Has a light rye maltiness.

Tried at the Victoria, Lincoln. Golden colour with a white head. Citrus and fruity hops, light sweet to mid bitter taste.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange. Tan head. Aroma is fruity. Roasted. Bitter. Dry, herbal and toasted malty. Bitter and bone dry finish.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and butterscotch. The flavor is sweet with notes of målt, bread, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Cask at Victoria Station Spooneria, 24/12/14. Chestnut brown topped with a moderate beige swirl. Nose is biscuit, perfume, light coffee notes, nutty. Taste comprises biscuit malt, toffee, brown sugar. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings and some faint hop tunes. Adequate but not as good as most of Adnams more recent offerings.
