This is a sweet, velvety oatmeal stout which was finished with over 30 kg of Dainty Oysters late in the boil to add some of that delicious umami flavour.

Cask @Buskers Pub (Rome). Nera, abbastanza densa, schiuma beige media. Al naso note di malti tostati, cioccolato, toffee, leggero caffè. In bocca è maltata all'attacco con chiusura amara, caffettosa, sapida, piuttosto secca. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione soft. Eccellente.

Keg at Brewdock, Dublin, 26/01/23. Black with a good sized khaki cap that retains well. Nose is chocolate, toffee, roast malts, charr. Taste comprises dried fruit rinds, cocoa powder, light metallic nip, roasted bight. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Tidy stout.

Hand pumped at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours practically black, with froathy foam, cream-coloured. Aroma is coffee, toffee, cigar. Body is average, with soft carbonation. Taste is markedly roasty, but with also some sweetness behind. Final is average.
