En kraftig øl, lagret med egetræ og whisky, med et alkohol indhold på 9%, bliver kun bedre med tiden. Øllen kan nydes nu, men udvis gerne tålmodighed - gem den nogle år, og få en enestående smagsoplevelse til synet af stjernehimmelen.
For at bevare de fine smagsmønstre har vi valgt at lade denne øl være ufiltreret og upasteuriseret. Herved kan der opstå en smule uskadeligt bundfald.

Bottle 0.33l, three and half year aged, many thanks to Camons! Seems quite clear, dark red to black colored. AROMA- peaty whiskey, roasted, dark chocolate. FLAVOR- neutral, warming, moderately bitter, smooth with somewhat sharp alcohol, peaty whiskey, roasted, dark chocolate, tobacco. Fuller to full bodied. Good.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 25.03.2027) im 2022-07 getrunken. Dieses schwarzbraune Ale kommt fast ohne Schaumbildung daher. Mit den kräftigen, malzigen geröteten Getreidenoten erinnert es mehr an ein Schwarzbier als an ein Stout. Neben der leicht unbalacierten Röstbitterkeit fällt ein leicht verbrannte Mouscovado-Zuckernote auf, die fast schon spannend ist.

Aroma: Roasted malt and burnt sugar with licorice. Flavour: Sugary sweet with roasted malt and some bitterness and lots of licorice. Aftertaste is licorice and oddly herbal. Colour: Dark brown with an offwhite head. From: Bottle @ Craft Makers Collective webshop.

Bottle from Slukefter Kro @ Home. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, brown sugar, light smoke, oak, light whisky. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, roast malt, brown sugar, smoke, quite burned notes, wood, oak, whisky. Medium body, average carbonation, light sweet finish with warming alcohol. Rather unbalanced. 140821

Bottle 75 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small, beige head. Subtle roasty nose already with hints of whisky showing. Solid body if not exactly gigantic, pleasant rounded roastiness with a neat whisky note, not from barrel aging but from direct infusion. Neat one. 231220

Black with a lasting off-white head. Roasted aroma with chocolate, cherry and a touch of spice. Sweet roasted flavour with lots of interesting fruity complexity.

Bottle @ Ratebeer, Odense. Thanks to Bo. Pours Black with a small creamy head. Salty licorice, soy, roast and ashes. Roasted bitterness and slight warmth. Tasty!
