(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours near-opaque medium yellow with a small stable white head and heavy lace. Aroma of bright juicy pale citrus backed by some orange, white wine grape flesh and juice, mixed funky ripe semi-floral tropical fruit melange, touch of herbal/leafy accent but not heavily dank for the hop bill. Flavour is lightly sweet, again juicy pale citrus flesh and peel, slightly bitter orange, some mixed lightly floral tropical fruit but less funk than the nose, white grape flesh, soft herbal tones, pale crackery malt, very smooth citrus and grape finish with no real bitterness and a little herbal accent. Light body, oily, quite softly carbonated. Phantasm beers are always a bit of a different breed, lacking a certain punch that hops bring, but they compensate with smoothness and this is no different. Nice brewing from Messo as I've come to expect.

Can, 473 ml, via Philippe Boutin (merci!) on February 23, 2022, canned on 02/14/22, savoured on April 18, 2022; eye: golden and caramel, cloudy, no effervescence, small ring of beige head, light lacing; nose: tropical fruits, orange, slight fusel, light malt; mouth: tropical fruits, orange, slight fusel, light malt, light grapefruit, slight astringency, finale in orange with presence of grapefruit peel, medium body, good carbonation, lightly bitter, mildly sweet, lightly fleshy texture; in summary: fine FRANÇAIS

Can: Poured golden color ale with a medium size white foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of juicy tropical and citrus hops with some nice floral hops undertones. Taste is a nice mix of juicy hops notes with some tropical flavors and light residual sugar notes. Body is fuller than average with good carbonation. Nice NEIPA with nice juicy hops undertones and not too much residual sugar notes.
