Can: Poured a dirty cloudy/hazy yellow color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry citrusy hoppy floral undertones. Taste is a mix of juicy citrusy hops undertones with some dry hops and no residual sugar. Body is full with good carbonation. Enjoyable but dryer than I was expecting.

(355ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City - 100% Simcoe) Pours very cloudy gold with a decent white head and some lace. Aroma of Kveik-y canned pineapple, peppery piney mangoes, hints of tartness atop some sweetened bready malt, citrus peels, super-fruity and quite nicely yeasty. Flavour matches the nose, very lightly sweet and very lightly tart pineapple-forward, some mango, decently peppery conifers, smooth soft resins, honeyed feeling to the malt body, a little garlic but no heat to it, low bitterness. Light bodied and oily with soft carbonation and a nice drydown without booze for a high ABV beer. A nice yeast-driven surprise with a solid Simcoe support.
