Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stotu with a large dark brown foamy head. Aroma of coconut and sweet fudge notes is enticing. Taste is also a mix of sweet fudge notes with some coconut and a sweet finale. Body is full with a nice oily texture and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol notes. Nice pastry stout with some good balance.

On tap at Shelter, sample pours a thick, oily black with no head. Legs though. Nose is huge caramel and booze and milk chocolate, not much else. Flavor is all sweet, caramel and blondie and chocolate syrup. Sweet finish that flirts, in a bad way, with cloying. Full bodied. 7 2 7 2 12

At Snallygaster. Poured a super smooth, oil black color. Vanilla, milk and chocolate. Sweet, alcohol really well hidden here. Big. Diabetes in a glass?

Caramel, lots of booze. Oily texture. Some booze. The sweetness clings to you like old, flat McDonalds coke. Some cream. Tap at Snally.
