Bottle: Poured a hazy light pink color mead with light carbonation. Aroma of funky ester with some vinous notes. Taste is a mix of tart notes with some funky ster with light residual sugar notes from the honey. Body is about average. Interesting mix of flavors with the grapes and mead meeting somewhere in the middle.

(750ml 2019 bottle from Buvette Scott, Quebec City) Pours lightly hazed medium rosé with a good pile of whitish head but little lace. Aroma is very rosé wine-like in some ways, the pinot noir skins giving delicate strawberry with a little raspberry-type edge, floral lightly sweet honey, rosewater-type freshness, lightly mulchy/sulphuric funk but not full barnyard, mineral brightness, full and fruity. Flavour is quite light and balanced; notes of strawberry and rosewater for sure, light red wine-adjacent but without the concentration, no real honey sweetness but I think it's giving some of the florals, brackish minerality (amphora), soft hay/earth funk, light tannins, smooth strawberry finish. Light to medium body, nice active moderately high carb. Fun wine-adjacent character like a light vin de soif, with excellent balance, but maybe a little *too* light overall to be truly exceptional.

Corked bottle at Phill
Hazy to cloudy pale red colour, no head. Mild aroma of honey and wine, armpit; highlight "mild". Dry mouthfeel, some astringency, lightly vinous; mild acidity.
Drinkable, but there is little going on here.

750ml (thx, Jonathan D.!) on Phill's deck. Appearance: hazy dark rose with a weak white head. Aroma: nice 🍇 notes with a noticeable funk. Taste: along the same lines, quite dry and carbonated, a bit astringent. Overall: nice one.

750mL bottle, pours a clear peachy pink with a tiny white head. Aroma reveals a nice melange of honey, pinot noir grape skins, and some wild yeast. Flavour reveals lots of red grape skins and wild yeast upfront, mixed with a touch of honey sweetness. Really nice vinous character from the grape skins, and the honey somehow adds just enough of an extra element. Very nice.

A hazed reddish copper Braggot with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light Brett, honey, light mineral notes, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice tart mix of lemon pulp, honey, light spices, very nice. Bottle at La Cuvée 2019.
