Dark brown. Has a rich waffle nose - that golden crispy butter smell - with some maple syrup, vanilla and a bit of coffee roast. On the palate, super rich sweet stuff with vanilla to the fore, light maple, touch of roast.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a medium size dark brown foamy head with some retention and light lacing. Aroma of strong floral espresso notes with some sweet chocolate notes and light spiced bourbon notes. Taste is a nice mix of strong dominant floral espresso notes with some sweet black chocolate notes with some light spices and some bourbon notes with vanilla and also noticeable. Body is full with creamy texture and good carbonation. Very enjoyable pastry stout with nice mix of flavours while retaining some balance.
